INK-JET PRINTING technologies made quite a splash at Drupa—though most of that splashing was happening in the production printing end of the swimming pool. Good old wide-format ink-jet printing could hardly compete with the spectacle of HP’s massive 400-foot-a-minute Inkjet Web Press and others like it.

Still, those looking for wide-format printers found plenty of them, from the super-wide models, like EFI’s 10
