New Video: BCC In-plant Adds Four-color Press
September 24, 2010
For Steve Amitrano, getting a four-color press was always in his long-range plans. For many years, his six-employee in-plant at New Jersey's Burlington County College (BCC) had been running tons of four-color work on two-color presses.
"It wreaked havoc with our schedule," notes Amitrano, manager of the BCC Print Facility, in Pemberton, N.J.
Recently, after months of research, planning and even a little demolition, the in-plant successfully installed its first four-color press, a Ryobi 524GE, purchased from xpedx.
In a new video, shot and edited by IPG Editor Bob Neubauer, Amitrano describes the benefits the new press has brought to his in-plant and to the college. A full story about BCC's in-plant and the reasons behind its decision to get a new offset press will appear in the October issue of IPG. Click here to watch the short video.
