Envelope Printing: A Niche for In-plants

A growing number of in-plants are now printing envelopes, thanks to digital printing technologies that make short-run envelopes easier to produce. To show off the possibilities, Xanté has created a treasure trove of videos in which print providers — including many in-plants — talk about the advantages that digital envelope printers have brought.

For example, in the video below, David Friend, the manager and sole employee of the print shop at Shriners International Headquarters in Tampa, Fla., describes how adding a Xanté Impressia changed his life. Gone are the AB Dick presses he once used to print forms. The Impressia now lets him print everything from envelopes and letterhead to brochures and NCR forms — on demand.
