Webinar Tuesday Reveals How In-plant Beat Outsourcing
As you read in our February issue, Fox Valley Technical College Printing Services has gone through some big changes. After prevailing in an outsourcing analysis, the four-employee in-plant streamlined its operation and relocated to be closer to customers. The in-plant has been recognized by the college president for supporting the strategic direction of operational effectiveness.
Web-to-print technology has been one of the chief ingredients in helping the in-plant meet customer needs. In an IPG webinar on March 14, Printing Services Manager Jessica Van Dyn Hoven will discuss her in-plant’s path to success and the changes it has made. You’ll learn how this award-winning in-plant has adapted to the organization’s needs like a chameleon to survive, thrive and re-affirm its importance to the college and students, and how it uses the latest technology to streamline workflow.
Also in the webinar, IPG Editor Bob Neubauer will provide some perspective on outsourcing, with examples of tactics in-plants have used to deal with facilities management vendors and avoid being shut down.
Titled “How Web-to-Print Positions In-plant as a Chameleon” this 60-minute webinar will take place Tuesday, March 14, at 2:00 p.m ET/11:00 a.m. PT. Find out more and register here.
