The 10 Largest Government In-plants

December 6, 2013
As IPG's December issue heads toward your mailbox, we thought we'd offer you another preview from our annual list of the largest in-plants, which appears in that issue. We have ranked in-plants by both sales and employees.

To give you a glimpse of what's in store, we broke out a list of the top 10 government in-plants, according to number of employees. We've added half of the number of part-time employees to the full-time count to come up with the figures below.

  1. U.S. Government Printing Office    662
  2. State of California    287
  3. State of Oregon    85.5
  4. State of Ohio    80
  5. State of Missouri    64.5
  6. State of Colorado    64
  7. State of Wisconsin    59
  8. State of Tennessee    46
  9. City of Los Angeles    36.5
  10. State of Kansas    32

Watch for the full list in our December issue.
