Ohio State UniPrint: Always A Team Player

One of the largest university in-plants, The Ohio State University’s UniPrint operation never drops the ball in its quest to support and serve the top-ranking school.

Standing with the in-plant’s six-color, 20x29˝ Heidelberg press are (from the left) press operators Jim Jones, Eric Taylor and Mike Marsh. The press is always busy producing items like brochures, recruiting materials and numerous products for Ohio State’s athletic department.

UniPrint runs three shifts on its Kodak NexPress 2100, shown here with Rick Cale. The digital press produces short-run books, postcards, business cards and variable-data projects. Demand is so great that a NexPress 3000 with Dimensional Clear Dry Ink is scheduled for delivery this month.

Jeff Krigbaum and Don Roberts show off a sign printed on UniPrint’s new EFI Rastek wide-format printer. The device has been so popular, the shop expects a return on investment within 18 months.
